Today our School family, gathered together to celebrate the Epiphany, the day we remember the Three Kings visiting Jesus. Our Year 2 children sang "We Three Kings" beautifully!
Today we gathered together for our final Advent Assembly before Christmas. We lit all the candles, the candle of hope, peace, joy, love and the Christmas candle. We thought about the meaning of each candle and how we can let our light shine out this Christmas.
Today we celebrated St John the Evangelist whom our Parish and School is named after. We had to read a fact sheet about him and then create our own art work depicting symbols from his life.
We had a lovely day learning about St. John and doing lots of different activities. Take a look at what we did...
Today we celebrated the life of our School Saint. We began with an Assembly to learn about St. John and did a variety of activities about St. John back in our classes.

We were very proud of ourselves today as it was our turn to lead Gospel Assembly. The gospel reading was from St Mark and we also got to light the first candle on our Advent wreath.
As Advent approaches, we reflected on the signs and symbols used.
Our RE challenge this week was drawing the Advent Wreath. We wrote what each candle meant - hope, peace, joy and love.
